Oh, No!
A group of some 10 men walked into the Kotel area all wearing “rainbow” kippas. Two of them came and put on tefillin. Everything was alright until, like I always do, I told one of them that he had to marry a Jewish girl. That did it!
He said, “I am married, and (pointing to the other guy with tefillin) he is my husband!”
“The Torah forbids that!”
“It does not!”
“Of course, it does! And it forbids it more than once! It’s in the Seven Commandments of Noah, too! That means it’s forbidden to the entire world not just to Jews! What do you think the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was all about? That’s where the word sodomy comes from!”
“I have a grandfather who is a rabbi and he says it’s allowed.”
“He’s not a rabbi! No rabbi would permit something that is explicitly forbidden in the Torah!”
“It is not forbidden in the Torah!”
“Of course, it is! G-d calls what you are doing ‘an abomination’. That’s the same word He uses to condemn idolatry. You have to marry a girl, not a boy! You have to make a family!”
“We have two beautiful children!”
“They’re not your children. They are other people’s children, and you have just taken them in!”
He became totally upset with me… he took off the tefillin, and stormed away.
Not only are they committing that disgusting sin, but they are saying the Torah allows it! They even say that they are “proud” of it! And today, the so-called “free world” is not only allowing it, they insist that it is to be accepted! No way!
TOAH SOURCES forbidding such behavior:
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and cling to his wife and they shall become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24
“Do not lie with a male as one lies with a woman it is an abomination.” -Leviticus 18:22
“If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, the two of them have done an abomination; they shall be put to death - their bloodguilt is upon themselves.” -Leviticus 20:13
